'Imran Khan Hastened Long March Announcement To Cash Arshad Sharif Killing'
'Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's anti-military tirades will prove death knell for his politics.'

Journalist Asad Toor made these comments in the latest episode of his eponymous YouTube show uploaded on Friday. There was no danger of Imran being eliminated, however, Toor said since the PTI chairman was a Punjabi leader. Imran, he said, had made a political miscalculation.

He said Imran had met COAS Qamar Javed Bajwa once again on October 17 at an ISI safehouse in Islamabad. The meeting happened in presence of President Arif Alvi and former finance minister Asad Umar. Imran had been explicitly told on the occasion that the long march must remain peaceful and he must have the PTI return to the National Assembly.

Toor said Thursday's unprecedented presser of DG ISI and DG ISPR had left the PTI intimidated. The party's secondary tier, now, was even afraid of leading the PTI caravan forward.

The journalist said the media talk had been convened after the military quickly realised that Imran had hastened the announcement of his long march to derive political mileage from journalist Arshad Sharif's Kenya killing. Delivering a message to the international community about how the ruling coalition was going nowhere anytime soon was another reason, he said.
