Journalist and TV anchor Ch. Ghulam Hussain has been arrested by Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) from Lahore.
“My father was sitting in a coffee shop with friends when a FIA team comprising 30 to 40 officers came and took him into custody, probably in an old case,” Chaudhry Ghulam Hussain’s son told ARY News.
He was arrested on Thursday evening from a cafe in Lahore. Reportedly, the cause of arrest is related to a bank loan he obtained in 2003.

Social media reactions were instant. Journalist Mariana Babar tweeted that this arrest comes after the declaration by ISI chief that journalists are not targeted by the agency.
