PTI Long March To Start On Friday, Imran Khan Announces
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday announced that his planned long march will kick-off on Friday (October 28).

The PTI chairman made the comments while speaking to journalists in Lahore. He said the march will commence from the city's Liberty Chowk and progress to the federal capital via the GT road. Khan said the march will commence just before noon. He said his long march will constitute the "greatest sea of humanity" the nation will witness.

"This is something way beyond politics, it is a war for freedom from these thieves that have been imposed over us. This jihad will decide where the country will go," he said, adding that the only demand of the march was for the people to decide who rules the country.

"We want that the people make the decision. Today, I am appealing to the entire nation that you will have to decide [...] do we want to go on this way of becoming a free country or serve these thieves."

Khan also stressed that the march would be peaceful, and said that instructions had been given to all supporters and party workers to remain peaceful. "We are not going to break the law or go into the Red Zone. Whatever will happen in Islamabad, it will be according to what the courts have permitted us," he said.
