'Imran Khan May Taste Defeat Across Three-of-Three KP NA Seats'
'Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan may stand defeated across all three NA seats up for grabs across KP in Sunday's by-elections if the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) managed to mobilise its voter base.'

Journalist Hammad Hassan made these comments in flagship Naya Daur TV show Khabar Say Aagay. Commenting on the upcoming by-elections in Multan, journalist Shakeel Baloch said Ali Musa Gilani, a son of former prime minister Yousaf Raza Gilani, was no novice. He said the former prime minister believed his son shared the best rapport with constituents among those competing with him. Baloch said that while Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan's narrative had been gaining traction, the party was now on the defensive. He said Khan had only toured the constituency once.

Journalist Hissaam Ahmed said while Khan could very well will in Faisalabad nothing could be said with certainty. He said the people were unhappy with former minister Farrukh Habib as he had not devoted much time to his constituency. Ahmed said former minister Abid Sher Ali had been running an enviable campaign in Faisalabad. The PTI, he said, had only gone active over the last few days.

Academic Kamran Bokhari likened the Pakistani reaction to United States (US) President Joe Biden's Thursday remarks to making a mountain out of a molehill. Pakistani politicos, he said, were currently bidding to outdo one another on snubbing the US. This, he said, was pitiable.

He said Biden's stance on Pakistan's nuclear arsenal remained unchanged. He had been arguing similarly earlier. Pakistan, Bokhari said, was a mere footnote in Biden's address. The premise of the address, Bokhari said, was different.

Flagship Naya Daur TV show Khabar Say Aagay streams Monday to Saturday at 9pm.
