Malala Yousafzai To Visit Flood-Ravaged Pakistan Next Week
Pakistani Nobel Laureate Malala Yousafzai will be coming back to Pakistan next week to visit the flood affected parts of the country to show of support and raise international awareness about the extent of the massive calamity.

The girls education activist will be arriving in the country on October 12, and will be going on a visit of the most flood-hit parts of Sindh. Pakistan witnessed the worst case of flooding in its history, which left nearly one third of the country submerged underwater.

The Sindh Home Department has made arrangements to provide Malala with strict security, and a special unit of the police has been tasked with making sure the security is up to par.

Malala will fly into Karachi on October 12, after which she will be taken to areas affected by the floods in Dadu under strict security. Malala is also expected to extend assistance from the Malala Fund towards flood relief during her scheduled visit.

People on Twitter are pointing out the eery parallel between terrorism once again being on the rise when Malala is expected to visit, and how nothing has changed in the ten years since she was attacked by the Taliban.
