Former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan has refused to admit or deny that he met with Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa at the Presidency last month. It is speculated that a meeting had been arranged between the two by the President Arif Alvi but apparently it had not been a successful one as the two could not reach an agreement.

However what is clear is that post this supposed meeting, Imran Khan has not been as vocal of a critic of the establishment as before.

During an interview with Maria Memon for ARY News on Saturday, upon being asked if he did indeed meet with General Bajwa, the PTI Chairman refused to confirm to deny saying, “I don’t lie and cannot share the truth.”

He also expressed his thoughts on the audio files that had recently been leaked saying that it was strange that such conversations were being made public. With regards to the cipher, Imran Khan he had not made the cipher public immediately because at that point in time, the OIC meeting was in progress and it would have been inappropriate to share the cipher then.

It was a decisive No from Bajwa to denounce his own animal status and be partisan to stand up on the “right” side of Imran. All evidence points to it the public bashing and SS new found confidence and Darnomics 4.

It would be too painful to admit in public.
