Journalist Imran Riaz Khan's YouTube Channel Hacked
Journalist Imran Riaz Khan's YouTube account was hacked on Thursday.

Khan said all videos uploaded by him on the platform had been deleted in a twitter post. The journalist's YouTube Channel boasted a following exceeding 3.4 million subscribers. The name of the channel had also been changed to Ethereum 2.0 -- after a bitcoin. In a following tweet he bemoaned how some had conspired to hack his channel. How fortunate it would have been if the same energy would have been devoted to national progress, he said. The channel, he said, would be recovered in less than two hours.

The channel was restored some time after. Khan confirmed the same in a tweet too.

"Restored Alhamdullillah Better luck next time," the journalist said in a tweet.

Imran, a vocal critic of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of the governing coalition, was arrested in July after being named in several cases. His arrest from Islamabad Toll Plaza was widely panned nationwide.
