The daughter-in-law of veteran journalist Ayaz Amir was allegedly killed on Friday by his son Shahnawaz in Chak Shehzad area of Islamabad.
According to police, 37-year-old Sarah was found dead at her home in Chak Shehzad.
Police are investigating the case. Investigating and forensic teams are present at the crime scene.
According to initial reports, Shahnawaz hit Sarah on the head with a dumbbell. Shahnawaz has been nabbed, police said.
