PTI To Hold Nationwide Protests From Saturday
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry on Friday said that the party will hold nationwide protests to show solidarity with party chairman Imran Khan from Saturday.

Addressing a press conference, the former federal minister said that the government has registered terrorism cases against Imran and it is trying push the PTI chief out of the 'political arena', besides delaying elections.

Whether democracy would survive Imran’s disqualification, he questioned, adding that inflation is on the rise and the political situation in the country is already at stake.

Fawad said that the country will become a 'banana republic' if Imran is ‘disconnected’ from politics. He said that the former premier will announce the next phase of party's “haqiqi azadi movement” in a rally in Gujranwala on Saturday.

He added that the incumbent government wants to conduct elections after removing the PTI chief from politics.

He said that the movement has entered its final stage, adding that a government elected by the people will come into power soon.
