Man Deprived Of Gold Worth Rs20 million in Karachi-Bound Flight
A Pakistani jeweller was deprived of gold worth Rs20 million on Sunday in a Dubai-Karachi flight, according to reports.

Jeweller Mohammad Moonis claimed to have lost 1,542 grammes inflight, according to The Express Tribune A search of the aircraft and cent per cent scanning of passengers on arrival proved to be in vain. The Airport Security Force (ASF) conducted a 100 per cent scanning of the passengers of the flight after landing but the missing gold could not be recovered. Moonis was legally bringing back half the value of exported jewellery in the form of gold. The valuables were the property of a Karachi-based jewellery concern.

Suspects had taken away gold jewellery and cash worth Rs1.5 million from the house of Tauseef Ashraf, a government employee, in Lahore's Wahdat Colony area earlier in March.
