Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) Spokesperson Barrister Muhammad Ali Saif said on Thursday that politics was ascendant over natural calamities.
Saif made the remarks while speaking to a private news channel. He said the nation was fast moving towards a state ripe for revolution. The K-P government spokesperson said contemporary political developments must not be likened to routine instances.
In such circumstances, he said, natural calamities were routine. These, he claimed, the government was equipped to handle.
On being admonished by journalist Adil Shahzeb who queried if the 'revolution' could be delayed by a few days given the pressing situation confronting the nation, Saif said this would have no bearing on political developments. Politics and natural calamities boast no link.
