Meet Pakistan’s First Electric Car Nur-E 75

On Sunday, DICE Foundation unveiled Pakistan’s first electric car called Nur-E 75 at the Beach Luxury Hotel in Karachi.

The DICE Foundation is a US-based non-profit organisation run my expat Pakistanis located in the US and EU. It maintains working relationships with local academics and industry leaders. The founder and Chairperson of the organisation is Dr. Khurshid Qureshi.

Nur-E 75 is Pakistan’s first indigenous electric vehicle prototype. During a presentation, Dr. Qureshi pointed out that in 75 years Pakistan has only imported innovation. He also thanked all the partners involved in this project including NEDUET, DSU, NCA, TEVTA Punjab, NUST, SSUET, Amreli Steels, PSG and Kruddson Aluminum.
