Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chairman Imran Khan said on Wednesday that the government had hatched a conspiracy to pit his party against the army.
Addressing party workers via video link, the former premier said that the government has conspired against the PTI.
“They [government] had issues with the fact that the army and the PTI were on the same page,” the party chairman said.
He said the conspiracy to draw a wedge between a major political party and the army is extremely dangerous for the country. “It’s being said that we are against the army and now they’ve [the government leaders] become patriots termibf us traitors.” he added.
The PTI had exposed the disinformation campaigns against the country, he said, adding that “the EU DisinfoLab exposed how India had been plotting against Pakistan and those in the current government were also part of the disinformation campaign against the country.”
He said PTI leader Shahbaz Gill should be given a chance to present a clarification in court.
