Police Nab 'Primary Suspect' in US Muslim Killings
Police have claimed to have nabbed a prime suspect in the serial killings of four Muslim men in New Mexico.

Authorities claimed on Tuesday to have arrested 51-year-old Muhammad Syed, a Muslim immigrant from Afghanistan, as prime suspect, according to Reuters. Police said in a statement that a search conducted at the suspect's house had uncovered "evidence that shows the offender knew the victims to some extent, and an inter-personal conflict may have led to the shootings".

All four victims were of Afghan or Pakistani descent. Three were killed in the last two weeks while the very first victim was killed in November last year.

United States President Joe Biden had strongly condemned the killings of four Muslim men in the New Mexico city of Albuquerque earlier on Sunday saying “hateful attacks have no place in America”. “I am angered and saddened by the horrific killings of four Muslim men in Albuquerque. While we await a full investigation, my prayers are with the victims’ families, and my administration stands strongly with the Muslim community,” the president had said in a tweet.
