Fawad Chaudhry: Demand For Full Court Is There To Prolong The Case
Former information minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Fawad Chaudhry has said that the coalition government’s demand for the formation of a full court bench of the Supreme Court in the Punjab chief minister case is meant to prolong the dispute.

Earlier, during a press conference, the leaders of the coalition government demanded the formation of a full court bench of the top court in the case.

Addressing a presser in Islamabad, Fawad said that the leaders of the coalition government have directly attacked the judiciary. He said that the formation of a full court bench of the apex court is at the discretion of the chief justice of Pakistan.

The PTI leader said that the political crisis in Punjab in affecting the whole country and demanded that the case should be decided as soon as possible.

He also criticised Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz, saying she is attacking the judiciary with her statements despite being released on bail.

He said that all the ruling coalition parties have cheated on the nation, adding that they should go home now.

We do not hold press conferences against the judiciary, but adopt the constitutional and legal path, he added.
