Interior Minister Asks Citizens To Send Videos Of PTI Hecklers To FIA
Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah has said that any citizen experiencing heckling by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters should send videos of the incident to the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) so that they may proceed to register cases and block the ID cards and passports of the offenders.

The interior minister posted a series of tweets in which he urged citizens, but 'especially members of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N)' to take note of any heckling and sloganeering by PTI supporters, and make a video of it.

He said people should either WhatsApp it to the FIA, or tag their social media account, in order for the investigation authority to take formal action against the hecklers. Sanaullah said that the FIA would register cases, make arrests and even block ID cards and passports of individuals who were hindering the 'freedom of movement' of other citizens.

"If you encounter 'Imrani idiots' while traveling, or in the bazaar, or anywhere else and they start 'roaring' or 'biting' you, you can film them using your mobile phones," he said, adding that they should refrain from taking the law into their own hands, or from engaging with them.

He further added that if the 'Imrani idiots' end up resorting to physical violence, then people should not shy from seeking legal help.
