5 Killed As Rainfall Wreaks Havoc In Karachi Once Again
Five people lost their lives in rain-related incidents in Karachi, while power outages caused by the rainfall have left several areas of the metropolis without electricity on the second day of Eid ul Azha.

Police said that electrocution in different areas of the city claimed lives of four men, while another citizen lost his life after a wall collapsed due to rain. The police are carrying out further investigation into the loss of lives, according to their statement.

Rainwater was accumulated on roads in various areas, as citizens on social media complain about the disruption of life in the city. Karachi Administrator Murtaza Wahab, however, claims that the government is trying its best to address the situation. He said that the pumping stations of city were working at full capacity, adding that the chief minister and his team are monitoring the situation.

He also said that some media reports about flooding were incorrect, adding that he was on the road and getting the affected areas cleared.
