Those Who Were Installed Into Power Through Rigging Complaining About Institutions’ ‘Neutrality’: Bilawal
In an apparent reference to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has said that those who had come into power through rigging in elections are now complaining against the 'neutrality' of institutions.

In his speech in the National Assembly today, the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) chairperson said: "They know undemocratic parties like theirs would otherwise not be given any leverage. This is why today, they are running a movement for our institutions to play a controversial role instead of a neutral and constitutional one.”

He said that rigging has always taken place against the PPP to stop the party of Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, adding that there are parties, politicians and "puppets" like Imran Khan in Sindh, who helped dictatorial rule come forth in the hopes that institutions would not be neutral.

“When our institutions started becoming neutral, be it the Election Commission, the courts or other institutions these people started panicking. This is because they knew that their bails would be revoked if transparent elections are held and the institutions remain neutral,” he said.

“When we have a level playing field, they will have no place to run.”

He further said that the PPP has been struggling for democracy, fair and free elections, and economic issues for three generations.
