Fact Check: Did Ex-ISI Chief Ahmed Shuja Pasha Condemn Imran's Khan Ouster?
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) supporters have been sharing a video claiming it to be of former DG Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt. Gen (retd) Ahmad Shuja Pasha condemning former prime minister Imran Khan's ouster, but the man in the video is not Ahmad Shuja Pasha.

PTI supporters and workers have been using this video as proof of senior military leadership being against the no-confidence movement against Imran Khan.

In the video, the man can be seen saying that the general mindset found within the army is for people to secure their own promotion, even if that means compromising on your morals. "They don't care about what is happening in the world, they just keep their line of target in order to secure their own rank and position," he says, adding that the result is people like Army Chief Gen Qamar Javed Bajwa.

He said that the army requires people to take an oath to serve and protect the 'motherland' and claims that what the COAS has done to 'the mother' is an obvious breaking of that oath. "Bajwa has played havoc with this country, with his 'mother', with our motherland," he says, insisting that the coalition government was given support by the army chief.

He concludes the video by asking what sort of democracy are we living under where we look to the Army for guidance and interference on every matter.

However while it is unknown whether the man himself is claiming to be Lt Gen Ahmad Shujaa Pasha, the PTI fanbase has been sharing it as such, saying the ex-ISI chief also agrees the ouster of Imran Khan was wrong.

It has been proven that the man in the video is not the ex-ISI chief.
