Aamir Liaquat’s Leaked Videos: Court Orders FIA To Submit Report
A court in Karachi has directed the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) to submit a detailed report on the leaked videos of Dr Aamir Liaquat Hussain who recently passed away.

On Saturday, Shabbir Shafqat, the petitioner, approached the court against the FIA, who according to him had not entertained his request to lodge a case against Liaquat’s wife Dania Malik for leaking the videos.

The petitioner accused Dania Malik of posting "immoral" videos on social media, which he said caused cracks in the matrimonial life of the couple and hurt public sentiments. “Such an act of Dania Malik falls under Cyber Crime Act so legal action must be taken against her”, the applicant argued in his petition.

During the hearing of the petition today, Additional District and Sessions Judge (South) Sehrishtadar instructed the FIA to submit a detailed report without fail by July 6.

Amir Liaquat died on June 9 and was buried the following day after his family refused an autopsy. A Karachi judicial magistrate subsequently ordered authorities to conduct a post-mortem on the televangelist's body and a six-member medical board has been formed to perform the examination.
