PM Shehbaz Visits Quetta Staff College As Guest Of Honour
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif paid a visit to the military's Command and Staff College in Quetta today, where he was honored as the chief guest on the occasion of the passing out ceremony of officers.

On his arrival, the PM laid a floral wreath on the Shuhada monument to pay homage to the martyrs of Pakistan.

Following that, he addressed the officers who had attended and were passing out of the Command and Staff Course for the year 2021/ 2022.

Speaking on the occasion, the prime minister said that the Pakistan Armed Forces are the guarantors of peace, internal and external security, as well as regional stability. He also said they are making huge contributions to global peace efforts.

Paying rich tribute to the achievements and sacrifices of the Armed Forces, PM Shehbaz said that Pakistan's success in the war against terrorism is unparalleled, and has been duly acknowledged by the world.

He said that the armed forces have always done a commendable job in the service of the nation during natural calamities. The Pakistan Army is a very important state institution and is the pride of the nation, Prime Minister Shehbaz reiterated.

The country’s defence is sacred and Pakistan’s security, sovereignty and integrity will be ensured at all costs, he emphasised.

He concluded by saying that the nation owes its freedom to the monumental sacrifices of our heroes and our martyrs, the PM concluded.
