Imran A Danger To Society, Says Maryam While Condemning Remarks About Country’s Dismemberment
Condemning Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairperson Imran Khan's recent comments about the country splitting into three pieces if the establishment does not 'mend' its ways, Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz said that Khan was a danger to society as his 'mental illness' had reached its final stages.

Speaking at a media talk in Islamabad, the PML-N leader said that Imran Khan was determined to seek 'revenge' for losing a mandate that was never his to begin with that he had resorted to attacking the State.

She questioned who introduced him to the ideology of splitting the country into three, claiming that he had made similar remarks about splitting Kashmir also.

"Whose ideology is it? Did Zac Goldsmith give you this ideology or was it his country, Israel?" she said, claiming she didn't want to bring this up but Khan's statement had left her with no choice.

She appealed to the government and the prime minister to form a medical board comprising psychologists and mental health experts to examine Imran's mental state.

Maryam said that the PTI chairperson had failed within the first 30 days of his assuming office, and was again exposed within 30 days of his ouster.

She said he was going to desperate lengths just to get power back, but remarked that the power had never been his as he had unconstitutionally stolen it from her father Nawaz Sharif.

The political leader reminded him that Nawaz Sharif had been removed from office three times, and yet had always only said 'Pakistan Zindabad'.

Similarly, she gave the example of the late Zulfiqar and Benazir Bhutto, who were both martyred, and yet they never said anything other than 'Pakistan Khappay' [we want Pakistan], she said.
