Shahbaz Gill Sustains Injuries In Car Accident On Motorway, calls it a 'murder attempt'
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader and former special assistant to the prime minister Shahbaz Gill sustained injuries in a vehicular accident while traveling with three other passengers on the M2 Motorway on Thursday, an act he says was a 'murder attempt'.

The accident took place near the Khanqah Dogran interchange, Sheikhupura, according to a motorway police spokesperson, who added that it occurred when a speeding vehicle rammed into the rear side of Gill's car.

A video clip of the scene of the accident shows the car completely overturned, with Shahbaz Gill standing amongst a crowd of spectators, without any visible injuries.

In a tweet after the incident had transpired, Gill claimed that the act was an attempt to murder him.

"I want to tell those who attacked me, I am alive because of the Almighty and the prayers of my people. My car was chased and deliberately hit. This was done under a plan."

Gill claimed that the foreign conspirators, local handlers and traitors were trying their best to silence PTI chairperson and former prime minister Imran Khan and his associates, and said he wanted to tell them that they will not remain silent.

He added that he had stood with Imran Khan in the past, and would remain with him in the future too.

PTI MPA Musarrat Cheema also reshared the video, saying that this 'cannot be a coincidence when the interior minister is threatening PTI affiliates'.
