Murder-Accused PTI Lawmaker Who Was Out On Production Orders Escapes From MPA Hostel
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Assembly lawmaker Faisal Zaman, who is imprisoned in a dual murder case and was released temporarily after issuance of production orders, has escaped from the MPA hostel.

According to CCPO Aijaz Khan, the MPA is missing since 4pm on Friday. He further said that the police are not responsible if a prisoner escapes from a sub-jail.

Chief Minister's Special Assistant on Information Barrister Saif said that a committee has been formed to look into the incident. He added that the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has been informed of the case, so that the escapee cannot leave the country.

He also said that those found responsible for the MPA's escape will be held accountable.

Faisal Zaman has been under arrest on charges of murdering PTI leaders Tahir Iqbal and Gul Nawaz.

An anti-terrorism course had completed the murder trial and the accused's movement was restricted by the court.
