No Evidence Of 'Foreign Conspiracy' Against Imran: National Security Committee 'Reaffirms' In Latest Meeting
The National Security Committee has once again stated that there was no evidence of a 'foreign conspiracy'. "The NSC after reviewing the contents of the communication, the assessments received, and the conclusions presented by the security agencies, concludes that there has been no foreign conspiracy," a press release issued after the meeting on Friday read.

The 38th meeting of the National Security Committee was chaired by Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. The meeting was attended by federal ministers as well as former Pakistan ambassador to the US Asad Majeed.

According to the press release, the meeting discussed the telegram received from Pakistan's embassy in Washington. After reviewal of the same, the meeting reaffirmed the decision of the last meeting that no 'foreign conspiracy' aimed at a regime change in Pakistan took place.

Former prime minister Imran Khan had been alleging that he was ousted as a result of a foreign conspiracy of which the then opposition was a part.
