Dadu Fire: Sindh CM Murad Admits Rescue Response Was 'Very Slow', Vows Action
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah has accepted that the rescue response to the fire in Dadu on Monday that claimed the lives of nine children was 'very slow', vowing to punish those responsible for the criminal negligence.

Nine children were killed while over 20 other people received burn injuries when fire broke out in the Faiz Mohammad Daryani Chandio village. All 50 houses in the village were reduced to ashes.
Earlier, over 60 houses were burnt to ashes and several animals perished in two separate incidents of fire in Dadu.
The chief minister said that fire tenders had to be arranged from other areas because those present closer to the village were damaged.
Admitting that the response to the fire was slow, he vowed to punish all those who are responsible for the delay in assistance.
