Violence Inside Punjab Assembly As Govt Members Wreak Havoc To Stop CM Election
Disturbing scenes of violence were witnessed inside the Punjab Assembly as Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) and Pakistan Muslim League - Q (PML-Q) members attacked opponents. For the first time in history, police were called inside the assembly to restore peace as members kept beating each other up.

According to reporters present on the ground, the assembly staff was assisting PTI members as they tortured their rivals. PTI members claimed that opposition members attacked them. However, the footage being shown on channels show PTI and PML-Q members first attacking Punjab Assembly Deputy Speaker Dost Mazari, while Speaker Pervez Elahi was cheering them on while sitting at his seat.

Pervez Elahi was also allegedly injured and claimed that his hand was severely injured. Elahi had first praised the PTI members who had beaten up the deputy speaker.

PTI members have now boycotted the session, and voting for the chief minister election has commenced.

Pervaiz Elahi's son Moonis Elahi abused the opposition members as he entered the assembly building during the voting process. "I will not spare anyone today," he said, while hurling abuses at opposition members.
