A 15% raise in salaries has been announced for personnel from the civil armed forces of the country, according to an announcement by the Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting Fawad Chaudhry. The announcement also includes a 15% disparity allowance for federal employees from grade 1 to 19.
Earlier, during his visit to Naushki, Balochistan, in the aftermath of terror attacks targeting security forces, Prime Minister Imran Khan had announced a 15% increase in the remuneration of paramilitary Rangers and Frontier Corps (FC) personnel. On that occasion, the Prime Minister had acknowledged the high levels of inflation in the country, but had noted that higher inflation was observed worldwide.
