Bill Against Enforced Disappearances Goes Missing After Passage From NA
The Ministry of Human Rights is currently searching for its own bill against enforced disappearances, which appears to have gone missing after its passage from the National Assembly.

The bill was passed by the National Assembly in November last year, after being approved by the standing committee in August. Minister for Human Rights Shireen Mazari said that the bill criminalising enforced disappearance was passed by both standing committee and the National Assembly, but it went missing while being sent to the Senate for approval.

She further said that the human rights ministry has completed its work on the bill, adding that the Senate secretariat might have received it. The minister was however unsure as to where the bill could be found.
