'State-Sponsored Terrorism': Pakistan Condemns Killing Of 2 Kashmiris In Occupied Valley
Pakistan has strongly condemned the extra-judicial killings of innocent Kashmiris by the Indian security forces. The statement, issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) said that Kashmiris are being killed by the occupation forces in the valley.

The statement came in response to two Kashmiris being killed in Pulwama in a so-called cordon and search operation. The press release read that 18 innocent Kashmiris have been martyred by the Indian forces in the last month.

The statement added that repression in the occupied valley had been further intensified through “ extra-judicial killings, arbitrary arrests, incarcerations of hundreds of common Kashmiris and Hurriyat leaders under the draconian laws and harassment of Kashmiris at the military check-points or during the night raids continue with impunity. Hateful terms such as “hybrid terrorists” and “white collar terrorists” are used to further demonize them”.

The statement said that visits by Indian ministers to the occupied valley are a way to divert attention away from “state-sponsored terrorism”. It added, “No amount of lies, deceit, and publicity stunts by the RSS-BJP votaries in the name of fake ‘normalcy’ and development, can mask, address or remove the total alienation of the Kashmiris”.

The statement cautioned India that the only pathway to a peaceful settlement of the issue was by following the UN security council resolutions and wishes of the Kashmiris.
