Journalist Ahmad Noorani's Wife Reportedly Attacked By Unknown Men In Lahore
Journalist Ahmad Noorani's wife Ambreen Fatima, who is a journalist herself, was reportedly attacked in Lahore by two unknown men who broke her car's windscreen. Her children were present with her at the time of the attack.

The incident took place in Ghazibad area of Lahore. Ambreen Fatima was headed out with her children when her car was attacked by unknown men. According to reports, the attackers began following the journalist's car when she left home. As soon as the car entered a narrow street, the unknown men attacked the vehicle.

She then sped up the car after which the attackers threatened her of dire consequences and left.

Journalist Gharida Farooqi took to Twitter to condemn the incident and noted that it comes just days after the Journalists Protection Bill was passed.

Ahmad Noorani had recently brought to light an alleged audio clip of former chief justice Saqib Nisar purportedly telling an unknown man that 'they' have decided to bring Imran Khan into power and Nawaz Sharif and Maryam Nawaz have to be jailed. However, Samaa TV had reported that the contents of the leaked audio clip were actually from a speech of the former chief justice, and it was therefore fabricated. While demands have been made to carry out a forensic examination of the audio leak, the controversy remains unresolved so far.
