Nobel laureate girls rights activist Malala Yousafzai has tied the knot. In a tweet, she announced that she tied the knot at a 'small nikkah ceremony' at her home in Birmingham.

Malala's husband, Asser Malik, is the General Manger of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB)'s High Performance department. In her tweet, Malala said that she and her partner are excited to walk together for the journey ahead.
Asser Malik is also the co-founder of amateur T20 cricket league Last Man Stands (LMS). Previously, he has been associated with Coca Cola. His father died when Malik was young.
