Pak vs India: Indian Teacher Fired For Celebrating Pakistan's Victory Through WhatsApp Status
A female teacher, employed at a private school in the Indian state of Rajasthan, was fired for celebrating Pakistan's victory against India in the World T20 match on Sunday.

India Today quoted the a Kashmir Media Service as saying that the Muslim teacher, identified as Nafeesa Attari, was fired from her job at the Neerja Modi School in Rajasthan's Udaipur area for celebrating Pakistan's win through a WhatsApp status. The teacher had written "Jeet gaye!" (We won) on her WhatsApp status after Pakistan beat India. She had also uploaded some photos of Pakistan cricket team players. The report also claimed that one of the students' parents asked if she supported Pakistan and she said she did.
Earlier, many Kashmiri students in Indian colleges were beaten up during the cricket match between India and Pakistan when they celebrated Pakistan’s performance by chanting Azadi (freedom) slogans.

Pakistan managed to beat India by 10 wickets, a match that was watched by millions of cricket fans across the world.

Indian media reported that several students at the Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering and Technology in the Sangrur district of Indian Punjab were tortured in their hostel rooms by students from UP and Haryana.
Another such incident was reported at the Rayat Bahrat University in Kharar.
Videos of pro-Pakistan students being beaten up were shared by students from the Bhai Gurdas Institute of Engineering and Technology.
