SUCH GUP: The Inquisition

The Inquisition

At his last hearing, The Man of Steel’s Talented Bro had an extremely unpleasant face off with one of his Inquisitors. These members of the Inquisition belong to a Fed Agency and one of them went way beyond the call of duty to insult Talented Bro. He hurled such inventive at him that it left all assembled stunned. Talented Bro emerged from the hearing and immediately called No 1. We hear Talented Bro informed him that he was now forced to agree with “Bhaijan” and his narrative. No 1 was apparently most apologetic and said he would definitely “look into the matter”. Poor No 1, he’s really at the receiving end these days!

Hasty retreat

When The Great Khan’s minions went to see No 1 in an effort to cool down matters, an interesting exchange took place. We hear in an effort to explain their leader’s behaviour, A Sad Age said that all The Great Khan was concerned about was that the “correct constitutional procedure” should be followed. At that apparently, No 1 blew a fuse. “Constitutional procedure?“ he is said to have exploded. “You weren’t concerned about constitutional procedures when we were installing you in government” and “you weren’t concerned about constitutional procedures when we were breaking every rule in the book to keep you in office” or words to that effect. A Sad Age shut up good and proper after that. And then The Great Khan’s contingent beat a hasty retreat from No 1’s House.

Stunned silence

When The Great Khan’s parliamentary horde assembled to unravel the mysteries of why their leader had shot himself in the foot, only one member spoke in defence of The Khan’s conduct. “We are with you for the cause of civilian supremacy”, said a member from Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa. This was greeted by a stunned silence from everyone else present in the meeting. Even The Great Khan failed to echo his member’s sentiment.
