A notification purportedly issued by the Punjab Provincial Transport Authority is circulating on social media, which prohibits transport vehicles from playing movies, "vulgarity" or music. The notification prescribes, instead, that recitation of the Holy Quran and devotional material such as hamd and naat be played in vehicles.
