Ramiz Raja Apologises For Tweet On ECB Chairman's Resignation, Describes Post As 'Erroneous'
The PCB Chairman earlier 'broke' the news of his ECB counterpart's resignation

Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Ramiz Raja has apologised on Twitter for earlier posting about the resignation of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) Chairman Ian Watmore. Raja described his earlier tweet as having been “erroneously put” on his Twitter account.

The ECB's Ian Watmore appears to have resigned in the aftermath of the England cricket team's cancelled tour of Pakistan. Despite having been appointed to a five-year stint as Chairman, Watmore has resigned after only 13 months in office.
