Military Shuffle: Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed Posted As Peshawar Corps Commander
Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) DG Lieutenant General Faiz Hameed has been posted as the Corps Commander XI Corps, Peshawar. The military's media wing confirmed the development in a statement.

Further, Lt Gen Muhammad Amir has been posted as Gujranwala Corps Commander while Lt Gen Asim Munir Posted as Quarter Masters General.

Moments after Lt Gen Faiz Hameed's posting, Lt Gen Nadeem Anjum was appointed as the new DG ISI.

Previously, Lt Gen Anjum served as the commander of Karachi Corps. In 2019, he was promoted as lieutenant general.

The new DG ISI hails from the Pakistan Military Academy (PMA)’s 78th Long Course and the Punjab Regiment. He also served as the commandant of the Command and Staff College in Quetta.
