The fake vaccination entries of PML-N figures are still proceeding unabated as reports of such records being created in the name of the late Begum Kulsoom Nawaz and former finance minister Ishaq Dar have now come to light.
As per entries in the vaccination portal of the health authorities, yesterday, on the 5th of October, two doses of Chinese vaccine Sinovac were administered to Kulsoom Nawaz – who had passed away in September 2018.
Meanwhile, former finance minister Ishaq Dar, who is currently in London, was recorded as having received the vaccination in Multan.
Health authorities in Punjab have already been under criticism for similar episodes last month, when a fake entry was added to the National Immunisation Management System, showing that former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif received his first dose of the Sinovac vaccine on Wednesday, the 22nd of September. Former PM Nawaz Sharif left the country in November 2019 and has not been back since. Even as PML-N Maryam Nawaz Sharif had directed her ire at the government for this fake entry in the name of her father, two doctors were suspended “on account of inefficiency and misconduct.”
