The Punjab Assembly approved a resolution seeking display of Quranic verses and Ahadith about the finality of prophethood in provincial government offices.

Presented by Minister Ammar Yasir, the resolution was unanimously adopted by the assembly.
The resolution demanded that the verses and Ahadith as well as their translations declaring Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) the last prophet should be put up at prominent places in government offices and also along highways at the entrance of districts.

Following the passage of the resolution, Speaker Punjab Assembly asked Law Minister Raja Basharat to speak to Chief Minister Usman Buzdar so the resolution can be implemented at the earliest.
Further, Elahi praised the Sindh Assembly and Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah for doing the same at Sindh’s provincial government offices.
