Pakistan Muslim League – Nawaz (PML-N) supreme leader and former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is thinking of returning to Pakistan and resolve various issues afflicting the PMLN, according to informed sources of the Friday Times.

These sources say that the wedding of Sharif’s grandson, Junaid Safdar, was planned immediately after Ashura, so that he could finalise his return plans. Junaid Sadfar and Ayesha Saif had been engaged for some time, but were undecided about their wedding date. Sources claim that Nawaz Sharif insisted on overseeing the event personally in the absence of Maryam Nawaz, the groom’s mother.

Further, Sharif decided that Maryam Nawaz would not seek permission from the PTI government to leave the country to attend the wedding.

Meanwhile, most PML-N leaders are unaware of Nawaz Sharif’s thinking on the subject of his return home. However, a few who seem to know about his expected homecoming are galvanised by it.
