The man who recorded the viral video of a woman being sexually harassed inside a rickshaw on Independence Day has been arrested by the Punjab police.
While announcing his arrest, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Political Communication Shehbaz Gill said that the man who harassed the woman would also be nabbed soon.

Further, Gill informed that 34 suspects in the Minar-e-Pakistan abuse case have been arrested from South Punjab, adding that in total 126 people have been rounded up following the incident.
Last week, a video showed more than 100 men sexually harassing and molesting a woman TikToker in front of Minar-e-Pakistan on Independence Day. It later emerged that the number of men who assaulted her was 400. The incident had sparked outrage on social media with people calling for stringent measures to make public spaces safe for women.
