Madrassah Principal Arrested For Sexually Abusing Minor Girl In Rawalpindi
The principal of a madrassah in Rawalpindi was arrested by the police for allegedly sexually assaulting and torturing a minor girl after a complaint was registered against him and a female teacher.

Dawn quoted a police officer as saying that the accused had managed to obtain pre-arrest bail in the case. However, the police arrested him after the victim's mother issued a statement which led to addition of two sections 377-B (sexual abuse of a child) and 506(ii) (criminal intimidation) to the FIR.

He further stated that the senior superintendent of police (SSP) investigation and he would personally monitor the progress in the case, adding that police were recording statements of the madrassa's students to find out if there had been any other victims of the accused. The official was also reported as saying that all four individuals named in the case have been arrested.
