Recent nuptials?

There’s no confirmation of this but a former High Adjudicator’s detractors are saying he’s taken another consort, a lady who is an American national, previously married, divorced and mother of two. They say the nuptials took place quietly in a simple nikah in the US. The Adjudicator’s supporters are crying foul and saying this is a falsehood put out by people with vested interests.

Insafian Inquisition

We all know that a fine balance has been struck between the various power centers at the top. It’s not surprising that some members of The Great Khan’s core team are more in tune with The Boyz than The Khan himself. So, whilst The Khan was bent upon extracting his pound of flesh from The Man of Steel and his daughter, The Khan’s point man was quietly advising The Man’s team on how to plead their case so that they could get the desired relief. It appears that it has been The Boyz’ endeavour to send The Man away asap, so that nothing drastic happens on their watch. To this end, they have enlisted the services of The Khan’s chief inquisitor. The problem is that this Head of the Insafian Inquisition is caught between The Khan’s draconian demands and The Boyz’ more conciliatory posture. So, when The Man’s team make a good point, taking advantage of a legal loophole, eyebrows are raised in The Khan’s camp and suspicions are aroused. And so it goes on and on.

Young Turks

There was a difference of opinion in The Great Khan’s cabinet on the question of The Man of Steel’s treatment abroad. The Young Turks, led by AZ, gave voice to The Khan’s own desires when they decried any “deal” that would enable The Man to leave Pakistan for medical treatment. They pleaded their case vociferously in the meeting, with The Khan beaming his approval, but in the end Pindi’s pragmatism won the day with a “unanimous consensus” approving The Man’s exit. Of course, the Young Turks and The Khan are not going to let up and there will be more hurdles placed in the way of The Man of Steel and his departure abroad.
