Diary of a Social Butterfly

Diary of a Social Butterfly
Khandaani types are always khandaani. Just look at Kate and William. How much consideration they’ve shown, how much sensitivity.  To come to Pakistan now only to fill in that bore social gap for us between end of foreign holiday season and beginning of shaadi season. So we can enjoy properly. And do thorough compare of Kate to Diana Marhooma – her hair, her clothes, her shoes, her style shyle.

Firstly: she’s a little bit too much thin. I mean I hate obsessity myself but between you and me she is looking a little bit like scarce crow. You tau know I never do bag biting or gossip but Mummy always says that when khaata peetas are that thin there’s something wrong. Remember when Diana Marhooma became so thin and we all said haw hai, look at her? And then we heard about that asteen ka saanp, Camilla, and the dievorce and everything. So I’m just wondering kay is Kate okay. I mean, you don’t become a dhaancha just like that. I hope so William is not being a tharrki like his dad.

Secondly, not that I’m criticisizing or anything, but how sad she’s not a blondie. I mean princesses should always have long golden hairs. Like Princess Grace Marhooma and Princess Diana Marhooma and Princess Aurora Marhooma (oho baba, from Disney’s Sleeping Beauty). And aaj kal tau there’s no excuse even. After all, if half my kitty group in Lahore can be blonde, then I’m sorry but Kate can also try a bit harder.

Thirdly, I know Queen is kanjoos but Kate could have worn a little bit more jewellery no? A crown or a tiara or big necklace or at least some paazebs and bangles. She could have brought the Koh-i-Noor for us to see; after all, as Mother Andrews used to say at the Convent, they took it from Lahore only, from Maharaja Ranjit Singh’s son to be precise. Not so khandaani after all ….
