Trump & Jemima
One of the UK’s leading tabloid’s the Daily Mail reported last week: “I Khan believe it! Jemima is groped by Donald Trump mannequin as she sports Melania costume for provocative fancy dress at UNICEF Halloween ball … the 42 year old journalist and campaigner looked almost identical to (Trump’s) spouse Melania, while she attached a Trump mannequin to her back grabbing her inappropriately … Jemima’s costume alluded to the recent scandal surrounding Trump in which he was recorded making inappropriate comments about grabbing women in a sexual manner … Jemima nailed her Melania costume as she matched the former model in every sense including smoky eye make-up, a flawless blow-dry and a perfectly tailored gown.”
Coo d’etat?
Rmember the recent headline in the Wall Street Journal: “India detains pigeon as authorities fret over risk of a coo”? What lead to this headline and story was a report that the police in East Punjab had in their custody a pigeon, which they believed came from Pakistan and could be a spy. The Journal said that the pigeon had been x-rayed and some unusual spots were found on its abdomen. Two further x-rays were followed by an ASI in the East Punjab thana declaring, “we still aren’t sure if there is anything nefarious”. An SSP from the same thana wondered if the pigeon “was from the Lashkar-e-Tayba”. This pigeon is apparently the second in custody of the Indian Police – the first having been caught ten days before the latest was apprehended.
Only in the Punjab …. on either side of the border!
