According to Express (July 14, 2015) DJ Butt arrived at Bani Gala with his family to meet Imran Khan, but was not allowed to see the PTI chief. He waited for six hours before leaving.

 Women beat up ill-mannered police officer

Nawa-e-Waqt reports (July 15, 2015) two women went to a police station in Gujranwala to report a domestic dispute, but the station in-charge misbehaved with them and called them names. The women slapped him and hit him with shoes (thaprron aur jooton ki barish). The clerk (muharrar) heard the noise and arrived on the scene, but instead of saving his boss, he video-recorded the incident on his mobile phone.

Women police officers suspended for fighting

Reported in Dunya (July 16, 2015) a quarrel between the woman SHO of the Bahadurabad police station in Karachi and the former woman SHO turned into a fight (hatha pai). They called each other names and pulled each other’s hair. One of them was injured. They have both been suspended.

Singer demands Rs 20m for song played at PTI sit-in

According to Dunya (July 16, 2015) famous singer Shehzad Chandi has sent a legal notice to DJ Butt demanding Rs 20,000,000 for playing his song without permission during the PTI sit-in in Islamabad.

Beggars fight over lucrative spots

Beggars who had gathered to bid at an auction for begging rights at lucrative spots (pur-kashish maqamaat) in Kamaliya ended up fighting with batons, Jang reports (July 17, 2015). Several of them were injured. When a police patrol arrived at the site, they ran away (raffu chakar).

Bilawal reached out to Fatima Bhutto

Unidentified sources told Nawa-e-Waqt (July 17, 2015) that PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto got in touch with Fatima Bhutto to begin a joint political struggle and strengthen Bhuttoism in the People’s Party, but there was no agreement because she asked to become the chairman of the party. The two families also considered making Sanam Bhutto the chairwoman, but she declined.
