Children gather to look at photographer AF Scott taking a picture of them in the Mozang area of Lahore. The photograph, titled Punjabi Children, was taken in 1912, and is now a part of the Hulton-Deutsch collection.

    Are these Hindu children or Muslim ones? You cannot tell. The same way you cannot tell a lot of things apart between the two communities. But we still insisted that we were a different nationality than India. Cannot figure that one out.
